I've never heard this said before. Can you tell me where Hahnemann or any
other homeopath has made this statement? I don't understand how this could
be so. Taking an extreme example, if a person does not eat, he starves;
this (starvation) is certainly a "deficiency disease".
If a person eats (let's say exclusively) e.g. refined, white rice, which is
devoid of B vitamins, he *will* develop defiency disease. If defiency
diseases are no problem, then white bread and candy should keep us quite
healthy, wouldn't they?
To some extent that is true -- if the food is reasonably adequate. But if
the children's diets are *devoid* of calcium, then they *will* both have
calcium defiency. If you believe otherwise, can you explain?
REPLY FROM DR. V. KRISHNAMURTHY
Dear Dr. Shanon, I think that are confusing the matter.
I specifically said that if two children are taking same food and one
develops deficiency, then it is not the food but it is the constitution that
is to be corrected. I agree with you that if there is deficiency of calcium
in the food of two children, then of course, the food is to be changed.
Please read carefully what I mean.
I never talked about cases where the food is devoid of calcium. Then why do
you bring in that here. That would only mean that you want to confuse the
matter. I hope you understand and apologise.
Let me now clarify one more point. If we have to accept and follow
things,ONLY IF HAHNEMANN HAS SAID , that would amount putting a stop to
enlarging our vision.
Wherever Zincum met was prescribed as a simillimum to a patient, immediately
after giving the medicine, we started daily examining the urine of the
patient and it showed traces of zinc.
This is the case of Ferrum Met and other metals.
This forced us to conclude that the system is NOT ABLE TO ABSORB from the
food. Inability to absorb calcium or other vitamin is to be corrected. To
explain you that excess alone causes disease, I do not mean tosay that
overeating nutritious food causes excess. To educate you I have to start
from the beginning and time and space won't permit that. If you carefully
examine the cases quoted in my website you would understand what I mean by
homeopathic practice

Re: defiiency
Hi Dr. Krishnamoorthy,
I do understand that two people can eat the *same* food and it will be
adequate for one, but not adequate for the other, due to reasons of
constitution, which may be correctable. My reason for bringing up diet
*lacking* in calcium was because you stated that there are no diseases of
deficiency, only of excess. This makes no sense to me, and no, I am not
trying to confuse the issue, but to understand it. I will look more at your
website and hope to better understand your meaning.
Thanks,
Shannon
