In the first 2 references don't see anything about cases on record of
breastfed babies showing signs of scurvy
while being breastfed because of the mother's ingestion of megadoses of
vitamin C in the pregnancy as you had state.

There was nothing online for 3rd one

The 4th one just talks about Vitamins in Milk......nothing about scurvy in
infants of moms who megadose.

Cases of scurvy have been noted among breastfeding counsellors in Australia
over 10 years ago; mentioned in case reports among the profession; not
published anywhere as far as I know; just "mentioned in despatches" and
shared among like-minded professionals in the ABA in-house journal..

Thought you were questioning the info re amounts delivered through milk;
interesting though that the breast is selective when it seems that we have a
"need" in times of stress for large amounts of vitamin C.

My contribution to the discussion is to alert our colleagues that reliance
on breastmilk delivering large amounts of vitamin C to breastfed babies when
the mother intentionally mega-doses is not a good one.
