Thank you all for your contributions on this.
I was thinking (and talking) things over, and the weeping might be more a
kind of 'passion'-thing, passionate music, passionate public, passionate
speeches, these things 'move' him, so when there is 'passion in the air'
(the more the stronger), feelings take over, and losing control seems to be
just round the corner. Or (/and) not wanting to show in public you're so
taken by emotions. Fear of (the power of) emotions. He'll go a long way to
avoid quarrels.
Thanks again,
Hennie
weeping some more
Re: weeping some more
I think what you write reinforces the idea that the music is not the primary
driving force, it is the group, the collective unity that moves him, which
is why I avoided rubrics that refer specifically to weeping and music.
However, it seemed such a Pulsatilla like state you were writing about (men
CAN need Pulsatilla) that I wanted to add, apart from the ailments from
excessive joy that Pulsatilla experiences, there is also a delusion 'hears
delightful music'.
Just to contradict myself
And Pulsatilla is also about contradiction as well.
