It would be more useful for all of us, if those practitioners on the various
lists, who use these methods successfully, would share their experience with
us.

It is not inconceivable to me, that out of clinics with large numbers
passing through them every day, and clinical notes being rigorously kept,
that eventually, these clinicians would see patterns of treatment that serve
patients better than others. Who am I to disagree with their observations? I
would rather listen to them, try it and then comment.

Re the repetition of high potencies - the source I have uses potencies from
tincture to 1M - and only prescribes the repetitions based on experience.
Each individual case requires a different prescription obviously, and the
management of the case is the key to success.

Re aggravations - where is the evidence that aggravations are common? I have
not had more than one reported aggravation in my practice. Obviously, there
are going to be some persons who are highly sensitive who will prove or
aggravate one dose of a remedy - and without any evidence of the occurence
of these incidents, why should we believe that it is common? For all we
know, it could be 1 in 10,000 people who will aggravate on one dose or prove
a remedy. Does this mean that we should not use repeated doses on all the
others who would not aggravate, or prove?

I feel that since Hahnemann, there is plenty of clinical evidence for
treatment surfacing and it is our duty to explore this and if it works, take
it on board. Why should this be a problem?

Noone on this list including myself would condone the over the counter
methods that Venkat described - this is not what I am talking about. This is
just what he described as his experience. I don't think it is fair to extend
this to all wouldn't you agree?

Who is the author you're speaking of? If you're saying this person has
observations that speak to use of e.g. daily high potencies, I'd love to
hear a bit of what you have, to get better informed about it.

Hi Robyn

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound as if I was nominating you as spokesperson for
Indian homeopathic principles (lol), it's just that you gave me the
impression you knew more about it than I did.

It would be interesting if you could pass on the bits of info from the
author you've read. I accept you're only the messenger but I am
open-minded enough to want to try and comprehend this way of prescribing, or
give me some links where I can read the info myself.

Just to give you all an up-date.

A while ago you may remember I posted about a lady who'd been prescribed 200c Ars.Alb to take 8 times a day for two weeks in connection with her leg ulcers.

She stopped taking them after already taking 12 and shortly after, suffered a mild cardiac problem, but nothing too serious that she had to go to hospital for.

Since then, though, her memory has become unstable. She always prided herself on an excellent memory but recently has thought she has done something only to find she hadn't.

She has now got herself a professional homeopath who will be dealing with her case for her.
