It is a sad day for homeopathy.
I was just informed that Christopher Ellithorp, of Johnstown NY died
this morning of a massive heart attack.
I will be writing a formal obituary.
Chis was an inveterate collector of things homeopathic and was always
a source for answers to questions I did not know. His library, though
small, was unsurpassed for quality.
A good numbers of pictures and signatures in my book, "Faces of
Homeopathy," came from Chris. He was in the process of scanning his
entire collection of IHA Transactions for the EH library when he died.
I will sorely miss him. He was a brother to me.

I am very sorry to hear of Chris's death. In 1996 he
was a speaker at a homeopathic class I attended in
Albany, NY. He brought with him some of his treasured
books. He was amazing with his knowledge of the
history of homeopathy, especially in New York State. I
remember him being very soft-spoken and generous with
his books and knowledge.

I'm sorry for you all who knew him. Also sounds like a great loss for
homeopathy too.

I am at a loss for words... I have spent the past year working with and getting to know Chris as I was the
supervisor of the EH project you mention... He will be very missed in the realm of homeopathy as he gave of himself
tirelessly... he was always with a kind word and a most generous, caring soul... I will relay our cumulative
prayers and regards to his wife and family...
