A pure objective symptom !
The 'cons' may mean anything of consistency, constant,
consoildation,constriction

Boger( or Boenninghausen ) would have broken this up as follows

Location: throat
glands: goitre
sensation: swelling
: soft
:firm:
:growing, constant
sides: : right
Sensations & Complaints : Goitre

spongia comes tops at a glance!
But inflammation will lead to another group

If taken as constriction: 3asar,2 cic,2gel,2 iod,2 lau,2 old,2sep
in throat pit: 2 rhus t, 2 stap
neck band , feels too tight: 2 arn,3 asar,2 bell,2 chel,2 glo,5 lach,3 sep

Imo spo , lach and staph deserve some consideration.(also rhus t)

I have done a lot of MM reading on this from many sources and have decided on Lapis A 12x tid .
