Dear Joy,
I will probably send the diabetic ulcerative colitis when I get it written
up as I haven't prescribed yet as he is over the acute and therefore isn't
desperate. I said it would be about a week before I would send him something
so hopefully some one will have an idea from the case so watch this spot !!

Case of Trigeminal Neuralgia

A old woman age 63 years housewife came with complaint of Right sided
Trigeminal Neuralgia since 25 years.
She has been taking Tab. Tegretol 200 TDS along with painkillers
and tranquillizers with no relief.
Built: Lean, thin.
Past History: Migrane right sided. Better with allopathic treatment.
Personal History:
Appetite - Low
Thirst - Low.
Desire - Simple Indian food.
Craving - Not particular
Urine/ Stool/ Perspiration - Nothing significant.
Thermals: Cannot stay without fan even in winter. Tolerance to heat is low
[HOT]

Mentals: Life situation

completed her studies after taking care of the house. Inspite of all this
she was always best student in the class. During exams if at all she
neglected her housework she would feel bad. If she decided to do something
she would be determined enough to accomplish it. [conscientious]

care of the house, also of her mother who was not well. She was very bold
enough to go to doctors even she had not visited them before[courageous].
She is also adjusting nature.[mildness] Her step-mother stayed few buildings
away, but she had also good relations with her.

her mother-in-law was very strict. She often insulted her but she never had
any grudges against her. She said, " Its her position, why should I get
angry", even if she got angry she kept to herself and at night, think over
her mistake that why should I be angry, she is my M.I.L, means my second
mother. By mistake also I should never think of being angry with
her.[reproaches herself]
When her M.I.L. was bedridden she was always tense whether she is taking
proper care of her or not?? If there was slightest delay in serving her food
she used to feel guilty.[Anxiety,conscience of]
in the house, she will do it herself. But nowadays she has become slow in
work and gets panic if few guest come home.

She was very cautious in handling all situation at home example even if she
is leaving her house to bring vegetables she locked her house and used to
check 2-3 times whether she has done carefully. She was very careful about
her health too.
Her sleep was never deep. Inspite of taking sleeping tablets she slept late
and use to wake up early morning. She revealed that often she used to come
to know if anyone is going to die. Her mother and mother-in-law expired,
before that she got a dream of her death.[clairvoyance]

This is an interesting case,i got her remedy after giving her 8
remedy...This case gave an insight to my understanding of one rare

Hi Anita,

Did you try Puls as this came out top in my rep!! Next were Ign and Lyco I
did get M.arct next but only after repping with the Complete rep.

My case of severe depression, who had good response to Platina in the past.
She states that without it she would have been admitted to psyche ward many
times, sometimes to Magn Mur as there is enormous conflict and issues with
the daughter. I recently used Helleborus 200c as she was falling over, old
history of head injury, incessant picking, chewing of lower lip and because
it was transforming in 2 previous cases with a lifelong history of
depression. She was completely at peace for a short time afterwards but
repetition did not help much. I move to more tropical climes in winter.
This move, though she can keep in touch by phone, provoked enormous anxiety
and I used Baryta Carb 1M which gave some some relief. I have also said
she could occasionally use Hellebore 30c. She is just hanging in. A big
aggravating factor is conflict and recurring fights with daughter over
issues of money. The daughter can not manage her finances and is
continually begging Mother for money ,which she often gives but can ill
afford. It is worrying to be using a number of remedies and one would wish
to have a plan or find one remedy. She also has diabetes which I have not
got entangled with encouraging her to keep that in the province of her GP.
I try not to get sucked in to her neediness and panic and despair In short
times of wellness she is capable of giving a lot to other people.
About using a number of remedies I myself with a tendency to get severe
chest infections because of bronchiectasis--Even a few spots of rain can put
me at risk, aconite dulcemara ,,belladonna of no help, sulphur used to
help, then merc cor . Tuberculin always useful. Last attack I needed
repetition of Thuja 1m and RhusTox 1m, mouldy infected sputum ,and small
remedies like guiacum,hydrastis. I keep going until I get out of trouble.
Again there might be 1 better remedy but I have not found it and have lost
fear of using more than 1 remedy,however, I suppose the big issue is the
wisdom of using several remedies Jean Doherty

? coffea. coff. does not cover the rubric "clairvoyance" but has acuteness
of all the senses and "unusual clarity of mind". possibly can be
clairvoyant? but the thermal state is against coff.
