This info may to too late to help this particular case - because it is true, intussusception needs treatment within 48-72 hours or death will result - But...

I have treated intussusception successfully (I think). A quaint story goes with the treatment....

Last year we were at the Mombasa Prison doing a 3 day mobile clinic. I'm sorry to say it wasn't "classical" at all, because they surprised us with over 500 patients to attend!! prisioners, guards and guards' families. Three practitioners. Yikes! Never again! Luckily, nearly all came with identical complaints (an epidemic of skin rash or otherwise, HIV) We simply treating "allopathically" with our medicines, no doubt, but still, later feedback was that many were helped. (and that's the point here.)

Well, by the third day we were low on medicine and exhausted. The last case. The wife of guard was holding a small baby. The child hadn't slept much for days. Wailing in pain. After three days of "let's give him/her/them rhus-tox/sulphur", bleary-eyed, I took a look at the child. A small poke on the lopsided-distended belly and boop! - projectile vomiting. I went for Verat Alb and popped a dose into the child's mouth. (Plumbum was waiting to be next if the Verat didn't take)

Now I'm looking at the mother and advising her that should she find the medicine not working (we would be leaving soon, after all) she's to take the child to the hospital immediately and... but before I could finish the instructions, the child was asleep. Hardly 30 seconds passed.
Sincerely,

Dear Didi

Thank you for such a wonderful example of homoeopathy in motion (no pun
intended here :-)))
And thank you for the human side of things and the vivid pictures and
compassion you bring to us!

Gratefully and respectfully
Eleana
