Hello, Im another new member, have researched homoeopathy mostly on the net for about a year and have now also just started with the British Insitute, distance learning course. I live in Cambodia, there are no homoeopaths here, so it will be great to have discussions!
I need advice, already please. After long consideration I have given my 2.5 year old a dose of Sulp. 30. shes had cronic skin conditions, alternating with coughs/colds/tonsillitious since she was born. shes been vaccinated, except the MMR (I wasnt educated to homoeopathy at the time!) and had an acute reation (I believe) to the first TB vaccine, when she was four months old. (There is a history of TB in family) She was hospitalised with a condition known as ITP (Idiopathic trompositopenia purpurea -spelling?) basically she had purple spots apearing on her legs,similiar to those of Meningitious and her immune system started to attack itself. She was given a transfusion of white plasma and of course anti-biotics. I had a homoeopathic doctor at the time and he gave us a powder, I dont know what it was. She recovered quickly and has had no more episodes since.
Shes a demanding child, but bright and also very funny, when stimulated. She craves company and will, like a cham. child go from one parent to another and toy to another. Shes very strong willed and stubborn, (Iike china). In all other respects she is like sulphur (Im going largely by Bolands types here, though I have cross-refs with Kent) except in the fact that she doesnt dislike bathing - But she does look contantly unwashed! She could possibly be psorin? (I am) But I havnt seen enough on the mentals to be certain. My question is firstly, what do people think of this diagnosis? I know its a hard question to answer not knowing the full particulars, but any advice?
Also, having given the dose, her mentals were aggrevated, she had two bad tantrums, very angry and willful. This improved greatly by the next day. Her skin also got a lot worse, with terrible nappy rash spreading down her legs and up her back. It now looks like a one raised red whelt in one area. Without suppressing it - I have been using Olive oil, to sooth the itch, is there anything else I could use?
She also had a cough (only at night) which has improved, but Im worried that Im not seeing the law of cure in action, is the dose big enough?
I feel Im being a bit forward, since this is my first time with you all! But Ive waited a long time to talk to others, I cant hold back!

If you want to be creative, try crossing nausea+goosbumps, with skin
eruptions itchy, with ailments from anger and you will get

Lyc, Nat-m, Zinc, Caust, Bry, Puls, Opium, Thuj, Ant-t, Ignat., Nux-v,
Cupr., Coff and Arg-nit.

Maybe then you can cross check with modalities and you may find a match!

- patient extremely itchy *****

have used merc - responded well initially but did not alleviate completely
have used nit-ac - helped only a little
have used ars - made substantially worse
& staph - [hold at bay for a short time only]
lyc - didn't help

very responsible person who feels guilty for everything, also angry at
treatment by husband over the years
says she needs to control everything

sometimes breasts itchy inside and nipples tender

itching cam on after confrontations with husband where she felt she could
not express her anger.

- what do you suggest - psor, nux v., kali-c, iod?????

Pseudopsora is an early name, used by Hahnemann and others, for what we now
usually call the Tubercular miasm.

With that initial < followed by a strong shift to the skin, I'd be inclined
to say "good prescribing!"

Since her major point of discomfort is in the nappy area, Morgan pure might
be worth some consideration as a follow-on Rx.
