In French
Drain ---------- - faire écouler
Drainage------ écoulement, drainage.
There are various other translations mostly depending on a specific
action, like draining a pot after cooking, or emptying a glass.
Hope this helps

Drainage is the same word in French and English, with the idea of "opening up", of improving, optimizing the function of organs before giving the Simillimum, with the idea that the Simillimum being able to free toxins in the metabolism, if the body is not ready to excrete them, a very serious aggravation could happen (been there, done that, believe me it is correct...).

There are 2 ideas behind organ remedies: one is remedies with a tropism for an organ, like Taraxacum or Chelidonium having a selective action on the liver; those remedies can be used as drainage remedies, as functional remedies or their tropism will allow to choose between different remedies in a repertorisation if a physical, organic ailment is predominant and nothing else allows you to differentiate between remedies.

The other idea is that of remedies used as "organotherapy" for the reapir of sick organs; those are either potentised organs like Liver 4C, Vein 4C,.... or substances that are known to repair the organs like Carduus Marianus (Silybum Marianum, liver repair) given in MT and low potencies.

OK??
