Help needed

This is a history of a 8 3/4 month old baby with history of repeated cough and cold infection with mild grade fever.

Birth history: Mother had history of bleeding in the beginign of second month was put on complete bedrest and progestin tab and from the fifth month onwards due to past history of cervical incompetence, duvadilan was started continued up to the 9 month. He was induced three weeks early with vaccum-with mild cyanosis at peripheray at birth, which resolved within 24 hours.

Mother's state during preg: Since this is my last chance, i do not want to go through all this again my BABY SHOULD SURVIVE.

Milestones: Normal except for delayed teething, stands sits, crwals on his own, laughs, recognizes people of house.

Vaccination: uptodate except for last dose of hepatitis and MMR.

Mentals: Playful smiling baby, loves to crawls around the whole house. Loves his elder sister very much loves to play with her runs behind her. Does not want to stay alone constant searches for people. Cranky only when tired, wants to sleep, or when sick. Says brr and baba now.... loves to throw things and run after them eg ball, car...calm and quiet otherwise.....

The case is only the cough+ fever+ coryza.
You have not collected enough characteristic symptoms to treat the cough.
I mean esp the aggravataion and amelioration and most importantly
that concomittant which stands out of the infection picture. I am sure you
are
aware of the Boenninghausen's method of case solving.

Your collection of generals will be found in atleast a hundred remedies and
you stand nowhere to individualize.If you gather more sx on the disease and
if you have struck a simlimum for the acute phase,then using the
relationship
of remedies you can zero in on the chronic similar.

Hello all,
Can somebody who possesses Vithoulkas' book "The Science of Homeopathy"
tell me please from chapter 9, in which special cases he says that "it
can be necessary to use the nosode of an allopathic drug" and the
examples he gives there? – I have a difficult case which got stuck from
a vaccine shot and I asked him via Hpathy ezine about using the vaccine
in potency. Now I try to gather the information needed to follow his
answer.

Also if your study Dr Shahrdar's work - Repertorium Virosum you will see the effects of the micro-organism and which remedies are associated with it.

hi,
i did a quick review of that chapter which is on miasms and use
of nosodes. as i understand vithoulkas, he lists the genetic
inheritance, strong infectious diseases and previous treatements
and vaccines as affecting the healing process. the orginal
3 miasms (psoric, sycotic and syphlitic) with corresponding nosodes
he says are well known for their dis-ease syndromes. allopathic
drugs and vaccines may have to be used judiciously as one works
their way carefullty through the case. in other words there are no
fixed guidelines/rules.
it is implied that the case is well taken so the history is sufficiently known,
including that of the family. diseases and traumas need to be known to
understand the miamatic influences. then the case may have to be
peelied in layers working the way backwards and using nosodes at
various stuck points.
he seems to be encouraging people to be open to the possibility of
potentizing drugs and vaccines if and when they seem appropriate.
he mentions that "the patient may acquire a chronic diease predispositon
after a bout with a sever infectious diseasem and this predispostion
may even be transmitted to subsequent generations. Thus, we sometimes
see cases in whom well-selected remedies do not seem to be acting
satisfactorily, yet who later respond to influenzinum (the nosode prepared
from a collection of influenze viruses) after the discovery has been made of a
serious influenza episode in the history of the patient or a parent.
Finally, the allpathic drugs or vacinations may engraft upon the organism
a predisposition to a particular syndrom of highly individualized homeopathic
symptamatology. Smallpox vaccination, rabies vaccine, polio immunization,
cortisone, penicillin, tranquilizers, ets, are all capable of weakening the defense
mechanism. In these instances few provings have been done on the potentized
vaccines or drugs, so the prescripton of the corresponding nosode may have to
be made blindly......" P.130-31.

Thank you Soroush,

I was wary of using the routine of giving the vaccine in high potency
in this delicate case and therefore I asked Prof. Vithoulkas' opinion
about it. He cautioned against "so-called new approaches or theories"
but said that in some cases, examples of which are described in this
chapter of his book, it might be necessary. According to the answers
I've got here, those are not fitting my case anyway.

The download of repertorium virosum requires installation of various
programs first, and I'm not sure if Dr Shardar's work includes the
pneumonia vaccine. Does it?

I have a problem and I'm not sure how to deal with it, but I need some ideas before this Tuesday.
I don't like the limelight, i.e. being the focus of attention. If cameras are around I tend to go to the middle of everyone else; I hate being in the front. On my Wedding Day (20 years ago) my legs were shaking so much I was asked if I was all right. I'm still like that even now.
On Tuesday, because I'll be standing in the local elections - I was nominated and I accepted without really realising what I was letting myself in for - TV cameras want to interview me and the four other candidates from the same party. I've just been informed of this now, and already I feel myself going hot at the thought of it and my breathing starts to get faster...and it's not even Tuesday yet!
So, please, any ideas would be most welcome.
