Prophylactic

CHOLERA -ars.cupr-acet,verat-a.. Verat-a one dose daily is an excellent prophylactic according to Dr. Jahr. Some physicians prescribe Verat-a , and Arsenic-a.in alternation ( verat-a .one dose daily given for 15 days , then Ars-a is given in the same manner ). All acids are prophylactics . Dr. Clarke recommends Cuprum-aceticum 3X to be given in little water night and morning for prevention .

DIPHTHERIA - Apis 30,Dipht 30 .

EPILEPSY - According to Dr.Das Gupta Kali Brom is recognized as the best prophylactic by most authors , next comes Glon . By Hahnemann , attacks of even chronic epilepsy ,which only occur after mortification or similar vexation may always be prevented by timely administration of Ignatia.

MEASLES - Dr. Hartmann is said to have good results by giving Puls and Acon one-dose of 6th or 12th ,every other day during the whole course of epidemic . An occasional dose of Sulph as an intercurrent remedy . Dr. Gaudy thinks Ars .a. to be a good as prophylactic .

MUMP - trifolium repens.

PLAGUE - (1) Dr. D.N.Roy is of opinion that Buboninum in 12-13 potency should be used as prophylactic and inlower potencies as curative agent as often as required .(2) Naja is considered to be very useful in India .(3) Hydro-ac, during the stage of collapse .

SMALL POX -Variolinum is the best preventive and curative medicine .
PREVENTIVES:

Chicken Pox - antim.tart. and rus tox..
Mumps - pilocarpinum,parotidinum.
Poliomyelitis- lathyrus sativa.
Small Pox -Variolinum Vaccinum.
Measles - Malandrinums Morbitinum.
Rubella (German measles ) - Puls 6 night and morning for 10 to 14 days after contact with other cases .
Suppuration - sulphuric acid .
Tetanus - Ledum and Hypericum are the chief remedies . Hypericum is the remedy for the tetanus after the initial symptoms started .
