Re: FIGHTING TERROR - THE HOMEOPATHIC WAY
As a healer one would be expected to have a more universal HUMANE view than
this.
I suggest you re-consider your belief system as it may not serve you as best
as it should.

Can we all please perform "damage control" by posting private, off-topic
remarks to the adressee's *private* e-mail. This entire thread goes
directly against the list directives, as does every "me too".

Wrong - This needs to be discouraged on list. If this is allowed to go
unchallenged, then, everyone else with an axe to grind will get in on it
with their commentary. A lesson for all is that to hate any one person or
group is not wholistic and is in itself, a sign of sickness and is totally
at odds with the message and promise of homeopathy.

Re: FIGHTING TERROR - THE HOMEOPATHIC WAY
Dear Colleagues
Please allow us to remain an unprejudiced observer. Consider aetiology,
modalities and extensions.
Going back to what I wrote on Minutus on 9/12, I mentioned that the cause of
terrorism is real or perceived injustice. Looking at the World today, there
are many areas where groups may have the feelings of injustice. The causes
of those situations very often come back to a hand full of centres in the
world.
President Musharaf of Pakistan compared Terrorism to a tree and said that
the leaves of the tree of terrorism were the individuals taking part in
terrorists activity.
You can kill and cut off leaves and branches but as long as the root is
functioning, then new branches and leaves will come back.
We have had Blair and Bush saying they want to fight terrorism, but have
done nothing about the root! But how many innocents died in Afghanistan and
Iraq so far.
Sounds a bit like allopathic treatment to me - treat the symptoms, but leave
the cause to continue.
The old Persian Poet Saa'di 700+ years ago said that Mankind are parts of
ONE BODY; hurt one and others feel the pain also. (This is in fact inscribed
over the doorway as you enter UN building in New York).
I visualise terrorism like a cancer in the body. The cells are 'SELF'; but
when the body's immune system is faulty it fails to recognise them as the
internal enemy and the cancer grows. As with animal studies, you can also
implant cancer cells.
Going back to what Nanga said, I think he is using his homoeopathic
knowledge to recognise the aetiology of a problem.
If you think that he is being racist, just replace Zionism with Nazism.
Would it cause the same reaction? What has Zionism to do with any race? Its
members are Jewish but not all Jews are Zionists and in fact some of the
strongest enemies of Zionism are Jewish.
Any extreme belief that only thinks of its members at the expense of any
other human being on this earth would fall in the same category.
Also when you look at the conflict in Palestine, the 'Jews' and 'Arabs' are
both from Prophet Shem (Son of Prophet Noah) and therefore cousins and of
the same race. So an insult to one is an insult to the other. And we have
black Jews, Indian Jews and Iranian Jews etc. So there is no Jewish race as
such.
Sadly what we see is a daily victimisation of a group of people by another -
the hatred with the inability to forgive (very syphilitic - Nit-ac ??) has
brought about the situation we witness. One of the things Dr Shahrdar used
to do was to ask students of homoeopathy to imagine and feel a BURNING pain
or a CUTTING pain for example. Just imagine that you have inherited an
orchard of 1000+ year old Olive trees and you have been looking after it for
most of your life and the livelihood of you and your family depends on it.
Now a bulldozer driven by another people comes and pulls them up in front of
you and shoots you if you try to resist.
Please write an essay of 1000 words on the feelings generated. Then list the
rubrics.
A book prize to the best answer! Dr Shahrdar to choose the winner!
Kindest regards
Soroush

Re: FIGHTING TERROR - THE HOMEOPATHIC WAY
Thank you Soroush
I was wondering how to respond when I see my friends so hurt.
Here is part of a healing class I am doing online
The whole of the writings will be up online when I finish the class at
the end of Jan.
Although it is not homeopathy, it is somewhat related in that it is
energy healing
The poem is mine
Suriya
Wounded Healer
I feel the stirrings of a song
That wants to sing to your dance
It's sad melancholy tune
Making itself heard slowly, surely
I feel the stirrings of love
For the people behind the wounded wounding words
I want to heal the words
But know not how
To have words of truth that cut not
like a scalpel
Removing what pains with pain
Friends , see you not how
You reflect yourself and me?
See you not how your hurt becomes my hurt?
Can you see your wounds in the mirror of my heart?
Suriya Osman 2003
Part 3The wounded Healer 3
Thank you Marie for your feedback. I note that you noticed a pattern in
your emotions and what happened to you on this occasion that you
processed in your heart space by being present to the feelings. You then
remembered all the previous hurts that were similar and even understood
how it all began. This is the beauty of the practise of presence. When
we are present to our hurts we illuminate our emotions and we also
understand the re actions that we find ourselves re acting.Over and over
again we go, re inforcing our ( false) beliefs about how things are, not
understanding that it is we ourselves who have a view that is entirely
our own and may not be real.
So now we are ready to become the Wounded Healer , the one who can see
the what lies behind the wounded wounding words uttered by a person who
is experiencing the 're' actions and the pain that started in their
lives from their original wounds. We can transform now into non
judgemental healers who do not see a person to judge but a person to be
healed , who do not see cruelty and violence as an evil in themselves
but 'dis' eases to be healed although the healing may be more
complicated than we can undertake on our own.
We are now on the verge of understanding that how we feel may not be
what really is and we are on the verge of being able to diss asociate
ourselves from our selves. Our historical self is not our real self no
matter how much we identify with it.
How did I start to become a healer ?One of the first things I began to
notice was a been there done that feeling when I come across my client's
problems. This is empathy which is not the same as sympathy.
Definition of empathy.
Pronunciation: (em'pu-thE), [key]
--n.
1. the intellectual identification with or vicarious experiencing of the
feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another.
2. the imaginative ascribing to an object, as a natural object or work
of art, feelings or attitudes present in oneself: By means of empathy, a
great painting becomes a mirror of the self.
Empathy is manifested in the healer by listening with presence. The
simplicity of listening with presence and the healing that this brings
is beyond our ordinary understanding and can only be demonstrated by an
exercise which you can do now .
I ask now that you practise being present to nature. It may be a plant ,
an animal or a whole garden, any natural subject that you can focus on
and be present to .Focus on your chosen subject and adjust yourself to
the rhythm and the mood of your subject. I leave it to you to do this.
Most of us are sensitive enough to sense the rhythm of a subject we
chose and you can share what you do in this class . Spend a few minutes
adjusting yourself to the rhythm of the subject you have chosen and then
ask a few questions addresing them to the subject of your choice My
suggestions on this are:What would yyou like to tell me?How may I be of
help to you? If it is a plant, you can exercise exchanging breaths with
the plant. Note that plants breath in carbon dioxide and breath out
oxygen while you breath out carbon dioxide and breath in oxygen. Noting
your interdependence with the plant and with all of life is a very
healing exercise and I hope that you will share this with the class
after doing the exercise. Any insights and realizations you get from
this exercise will take us one step further to healing other human beings .

Re: FIGHTING TERROR - THE HOMEOPATHIC WAY
Soroush - You are correct in much of what you say but (correct me if I am
wrong), I seem to detect an attempt to blame only the Jews for the problems
that are extant in the Middle East. You wrote:

It seems that you may be referring to the Jews as being unable to forgive.
(This is unclear. Are you?) I, however, see it as being the other way
around. I do not see Jews acting to attack Palestinians (except in isolated
cases) without having been first attacked by suicide bombers exploding their
nail filled weaponry in a restaurant or shopping center full of civilians,
some of whom are, inevitably, women, children and elderly people. I have
seen film of Palestinians dancing in the streets after such barbarous and
insane (syphilitic) acts as well as after the destruction of the twin towers
in New York. That is what I call victimization. The Palestinians have been
led by the disgraceful and disgraced Arafat who has devoted his life to
murder and terrorism. It is he who has made necessary the incursions into
the territories inhabited by the Palestinains. Violent and dangerous animals
have to be treated as such. They have to be caged or put to death as there
is no way to reason with them. Such animals function only through instinct
(emotion) and are strangers to logic. The murderers who have destroyed hope
for the decent people among the Palestinians, are clearly operating from the
violent sycotic mode and cannot be reasoned with. They leave the Israeli
authorities no option but to deal with them as necessary. This is why Arafat
has been confined to Ramallah and why the other murderers are hunted by the
Israelis. As cowards and murderers, the terrorists hide among the people,
behind the skirts of women, in the schools of children and in the churches
and mosques. These types have done this in Afghanistan, the Palestinian
territories, in Iraq or whatever parts of the world they have stolen from
the righteous and the just because they know that when their victims
retaliate some innocents will die and they can then blame their attackers
for their callousness. Why would anyone not see their diseased actions for
what they are? Why would anyone applaud the actions of such "martyrs" who
have been promised heaven and an endless supply of young women for their
depraved activities? What prejudice and inhumanity would prevent anyone from
wishing for peace and justice for everyone, regardless of their race or
religion? Please don't blame the Jews for the problems of the world, nor
Bush and Blair. They are not innocent, although they serve as convenient
scapegoats but, neither is anyone else who lies and piously defends the
"victims" of the Jews and the Americans. Who victimized the 3500 people who
died in New York at the hands of the murdering fanatics seeking martyrdom?
Did you weep for them and their families? Why not blame Arafat and the other
liars and murderers of the world? Do any of you hate anyone or any group?
Then, you are a terrorist.
Why would anyone mention Zionism in the same sentence as Nazism? What is
your goal here? Are you trying to make peace or foment further conflict and
bloodshed? There are others on the list who write in to speak of the glories
of their religion and the just cause of their fellow believers. Anyone who
would do such, I submit, is a leaf of the tree of terrorism, as you have
described it. What about the tree of humanity? Each branch can be seen as a
separation from the unity of mankind. The trunk connects all the branches to
the Earth but, the terrorists are trying to destroy any idea of unity and to
destroy any connection to the trunk, except their own. A tree with one
branch can only be a weak and pathetic looking tree, good for nothing and
unbalanced, ready to fall over at the first difficulty it encounters. So
much for the wisdom of the terrorists and the religious bigots and racists.
Anyone who would in any way seek to so divide mankind is an enemy of
mankind. Has anyone reading this ever applauded the terrorists when they
have done their work against Israel or the United States, Britain or others
involved in fighting them? Shame on you. You are a terrorist as well. I do
not want to hear any more about anyone's religion or ethnicity nor that of
anyone else who writes in to emote about the pain suffered by their
"friends" or "brothers" who fight the Jews and the Americans. Such things
are not better or more meaningful than my or anyone else's experiences or
suffering in this world. Get over it. Lighten your heart. Love humanity.

Tanya - You have no idea what I know or where I get my information so please
do not patronize. I know what I know and I know more than enough to
recognize injustice, fear, terrrorism and the cowardly works of evil. Anyone
who will resort to murder and terror as official policy or as a way to
compensate for perceived losses will eventually pay the price as will anyone
who supports them. Time is running out on planet Earth for those who hate
and destroy. If you have to ask me how I know this, then, I will say clearly
to you that you are uninformed and should begin the process of information
gathering for yourself. Time is running out.
