To be prepared for new diseases and treating them study Kent's Lectures on
Homeopathic Philosophy especially Lecture III paragraph 5 ff of that
lecture. Ahmed Currim

I had some experience with giveing homeopathic pertussin to my son who was a
baby, to prevent an acute. He took it daily for a few months. he never had
pertussis, while many others around him did. He does however have a chronic
cough which he gets every year and is treated successfully with Pulsitilla.
He has also had Tub. which helped. I think the homoepathic prophylaxix of
pertussin suppressed my son's acute disease. I am glad it did so because the
acute pertussin is very dangerous to small chidren and the only other choice
I had was vaccination, which was not acceptable to me. He does have a lung
condition which I don't think he would have had if he was older at the time
of the outbreak and I did not medicate him, but allow his own immunity to
kick in.
Conclusion: when necessary prophylaxis is a good idea. If you can avoid it,
natural immunity is the best. Sometimes, antibiotics are our friends.

Hi, I would be interested in hearing how (apart from the remedies you give
already - but don't seem to be holding) you treat your son vis a vis the
suppression. Have you considered a bowel nosode which might help re-open the
case? Suppression is an interesting topic, perhaps more so if it has
occurred through homeopathy. Maybe a discussion can ensue? Best wishes, Joy

I don't think the case is suppressed, but then the parents are always the
last to know. . I think his constitution hasn't yet eliminated the pertussin
by having a strong enough acute. Maybe that is the definition of suppression!
(!)
He is rarely sick. Has a terrific immune system and gets over colds very
quickly. Gets a cough which lasts a few days once a year. I call that health.

SOme one was telling me today that I should learn how to do homeopathic vaccinations as a lot of people are wanting an alternative for their children. I thought I would write here and see what the consensus is on that front. Should we provide this service and how do we do it, or should we wait until we are exposed to it and then treat homeopathically?? I wouldn't mind thoughts as well as books that provide info on this. THis person was telling me that schools are beginning to accept this way of "vaccinating"
Thanks

i have a book by Isaac Golden who has done a long study on the effectiveness of homeoprophylaxis in Australia and added this to the many instances already known of effective and safe homeoprophylaxis. i think in measured ways, it's a great tool and i have no issue with using it sparingly.
