fingers stuck

Post by Sim Thiam Chye »

Hi

I have a friend whose middle and ring fingers go stuck (usually in the morning) in close fist position.
She need to use the other hand to open those fingers. I tried using Murphy to rep, but couldn't find any suitable rubics.
Which rubic can I use to rep.?

BTW, her mum and sister has similar problems.

Hi TC,
I understand it to be a 'rheumatic' stiffness.
from Knerr's rep.
finger stiffnes: amyl,calc s, camph,caulo,caust, cup
m,ferr,ham,lyss
nat s,ptel,spong
rigidity, as if dead, night, every morning: amm c
of joints,gouty: carbo an

of middle finger- sil
painfully rigid: calc s
********************************************************
boger's rep:
upper extremities:clenched
Hands:aco,argn,ars,cocl,hyo,nuxv,op,pho,
phyt,stram
contraction: fingers:
alu,amc,anac,ars,caps,caus,cina,cocl,cof,
colch,cup,graph,mang,merc,natc,nux v,pho,pld,saba,sec
c,sep,stan
paralysis: rheumatic: ant t,chin,magc,fer

Lilienthal says that sil has chronic herditary
rheumatic affections.
Hope this helps.
Venkat

Sounds to me like Dupuytren Contracture, or 'frozen', 'trigger finger'
syndrome. It is related to tenosynovitis and tendonitis.

Take a look at:

Gelsemium in Clarke's MM
Arctium Lappa
Baryta Carb
Proteus Bowel Nosode (Dr. Roger A. Schmidt)
Thiosinaminum

And find which of these remedies fits your friend's symptom totality the
best. I can't access Synthesis at the moment, but I recall Dupuytren is in
the repertory, so you have somewhere to start.
