I regard this as EXTREMELY poor advice. There is no "OR" about it, you HAVE
to take a COMPLETE case and then find the Similimum.

Treat the particular homoeopathically and you WILL SUPPRESS the case.

We owe it to our patients not to cause them harm!

May be take a complete case. Once my nephew cut his finger. I took the complete case. Very strange things came out. He had running nose and use to sneeze when smells hot spices and makes sounds when swallows. Strange enough he will pass urine during passing stool. More strangely he would grind teeth while eating. His legs will move while walking and closes his eyes during sleep. I thought what the heck let's go further. He would lift his leg while putting his pants on and closes door in the bath during shower. I could not find these PROVINGS in any book so I rubbed Iodine and applied the bandage. CASE CLOSE.

I just like to point out that Minutus is a forum for the learning of
Homoeopathy.

In my mind only a third rate 'homoeopath' would treat a skin problem
topically without treating the case a totality. In fact such a person would
be undeserving of the title Homoeopath. The use of potentised remedies
allopathically does warrant the use of the terms Homoeopathy or Homoeopath.

Nanga may be you partook of too much jolly stuff during the New Year
celebrations, but to equate the treatment to be given to a cut finger and
that of acne does not promote good Homoeopathy by any standard, even as a
joke.

You also need to explain also why you resorted to iodine when we have
external remedies and tinctures which would promote rapid disinfection and
healing of cuts and avoid setting up a possible allergic reaction.

best medicine for any cut is calendula mother tincture. one can apply the medicine locally after cleaning the portion affected.
