Electrical Sensitivity

Post by Arlene Kellman, DO »

Hi All,

Has anyone had success treating patients homeopathically for electrical
sensitivity?

I will be seeing a woman with multiple chemical sensitivities who
especially has a sensitivity to electricity. She has had lots of
allopathic interventions in the past for various conditions (surgeries,
dental work, medications) and I feel there is a toxicity problem that
could be an obstacle to cure.

I attempted to treat a similar patient once in the past, but prior to
seeing me she had become dependent on several combination homeopathic
remedies which she didn't want to stop, was undergoing mercury chelation
and other treatments, and I had a hard time sorting out her symptomatology.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,
Arlene

I'm sure you have thought of this -- but it seems to
me that sensitivity to electricity isn't any different
from sensitivity to anything else: the sensitivity
itself is the symptom, along with the physical or
mental/emotional sensations she experiences. If there
are shooting pains, that should go into the mix. The
remedy will probably be found in the etiology.

Christopher,

Thank you for your suggestions regarding my case. I guess my main
dilemma is trying to sort out if her sensitivity is an inherent
("natural") imbalance in the Vital Force or a result of external
exciting causes, such as mercury poisoning. I'm curious to know if
electrical sensitivity per se is something others have seen in practice
and that has responded to homeopathy, or is rather a phenomenon of our
modern toxic environment and has to be addressed initially with
interventions aimed at reducing the toxic load on the body before
homeopathy will be effective.

Sincerely,
Arlene

But still, it is not "toxic" enough to make most
people sensitive to it -- so I would not consider it a
poison. If she were sensitive to tear gas, then that
is a toxin at work. Electricity is not a poison.
Fluorescent lights may not be the greatest thing for
you, but millions of people use them without problems.
If she finds it toxic, I think that is a sign of an
underlying imbalance.
Do you know of this interesting rubric "Desires to be
magnetized"? It originally referred to literal
magnetism, as a treatment modality. Not sure how
exactly it relates to the electricity question, but it
comes to mind.

The 'desire to be magnetised is a reference to being put under hypnosis?
In synthesis 7 and Radar Prog in the ( ) after the rubric it refers to
mesmerism which is the same as hypnosis.

Then you have variations on the theme - easy to be magnetised, sensation as
if (oena) and magnetising others.

As far as fluorescent lights are concerned, quite a lot of people suffer
from them without knowing about it. It is part of the 'sick office' syndrome
(Where the office environment is not healthy).

Also there is a possible link with working under fluorescent lights and skin
cancer.

There was a report on WDDTY (What Doctors Don't Tell You) last month or so
that on board US navy ships they found that the deck guys were less prone to
skin cancer than the indoor office workers (who work under fluorescent
light) on the same ship.

This may be a peculiar sx, but if it was my pt, I would try and find the
similimum based on the other info I have and the totality of the case.
