Sucking reaction

Post by Rochelle »

Hi Joy,
Am studying the CP case ad I came across these rx which may have been the ones I think you may have been looking at
Complete Millenium, Teeth; ZZ BOENNINGHAUSEN agg. gums, sucking, bov[1](5), carb-v[1](5), kali-c[1](5), nux-m[1](5), nux-v[1](5), zinc[1](5)
Complete Millenium, Teeth; ZZ BOENNINGHAUSEN agg. sucking with tongue, am-c[1](5), bell[1](5), carb-v[1](5), kali-c[1](5), nit-ac[1](5), nux-m[1](5), nux-v[1](5), zinc[1](5)#
Note it says AGG

Did you find something different?

I found 'suckling agg' in Boger which has - calc carb; calc phos; kali bich;
phos-ac; puls; sul; but I don't think it is relevant when the aggravation is
included. My original post was from Kent, sucking gums (but this is in
context of gums that are or have been bleeding), so probably not relevant
either, although you should try and look in her mouth to see what is going
on, and this would be an opportunity to see the state of what teeth she does
have.

If she has a lot of saliva then this sucking is a good response to that, or
an indication of what Patricia? said about suckling nipples (Lac H). Can you
be any more specific about the action and noise she makes.

best, Joy

Dear Joy,
I haven't personally seen any sign of salivation or dribbling. The sucking noise and action is the simple reflex that babies make and my son used to make in his sleep!!!

I did read Lac H and Lac M but there was too much speculation and interpretation for my liking :-) I would prefer to start with something more basic.

Rochelle

PS have had yet another (4th) Mum with teething child + cough. The next one that phones I want to know about vaccinations as this is what I am suspecting at the moment!!The usual Rx I am giving are not having the usual good response I expect!!
