Was talking to a homeopath I know in the USA and we got to talking
about what kind of cars we have... She was wondering how many
homeopaths drive "luxury" cars. So I thought I'd ask. Certainly NOT a
homeopathic topic unless we can decide that those who drive a Rolls
are certainly Platina....
She, by the way, drives a BMW 320i and I have a Mercedes SKL 200.

I usually drive whatever is cheap and sturdy -- Honda Civic is favorite,
Ford Escort is current. (But we recently got a used Honda Odyssey van,
which is IMO nearly a "luxury car" in price! But sturdy...)

Re: [H] Autos (off subject)
As Joy remarked, this thread has great relevance, actually. I'm finding it
fascinating the kinds of insights that sparkle out of each person's brief
answer. Obviously, it would make a lot of sense to greet clients outside
and get a view of how they arrived!!
It reminds me of an exercise Rajan Sankaran did in a seminar. It seemed
irrelevant, but was amazingly revealing of the core essence of each
individual who answered -- I suppose because the answers came from an
uncompensated state. We were in San Francisco, and he asked us to write
down quickly five words that would help us describe the Golden Gate Bridge
to someone else. He said to "be objective." That seemed simple enough.
Then he went around the room and asked for each person's 5 words.
As you might think, it would be hard to recognize that all the sets of words
described the same structure. In fact, people's core concerns and even
their core affinity to a remedy type appeared clearly. Some folks focused
on the structural details -- the building materials, measurements,
architectural soundness. Others highlighted the communications aspect --
that it was a link between discontinuous land masses and spaces. Others
still were poetic and impressionistic (e.g., fogbound, shimmery). I really
got what was going on when he came to my friend, who's really into daring,
what to me would be heart-stopping adventures, like soloing at very high
altitudes in a hot air balloon. The words I remember from her list were:
Bold, daring, adventurous, fearless. (Interestingly, these were animal
terms, as opposed to the sensitivity of plants or the structural concerns of
minerals.). After the seminar, I was musing on the animal-vegetable-mineral
questions of remedy affinities, and wondering about my own. I finally
decided, after a convoluted meditation process, that I really resonated
deeply with birds, and actually fit the bird remedy descriptions quite well.
Then I happened to glance at my notes, and saw again my list of Golden Gate
Bridge words: soaring, swooping, high.. (don't remember the other two).
Hmmm....
I'm seeing, putting the Golden Gate Bridge exercise together with the
insights that are coming out from our brief descriptions of our cars, that
people reveal their hidden essences very readily when describing objects
present in their every day lives. I plan to use this insight in client
interviews, especially with people I'm finding difficult to connect with
energetically. Thanks, Julian and others, for sharing.

Hi,
Well, platina I must be, because I ride in a chauffeured vehicle!!!
A Nissan minibus in fact, tho sometimes an Izisu.
However I share the Nissan with 18-25 other people at a time...... &
sometimes with a chicken or two under the seat or maybe a sheep!
it's called "public transport" here in Nairobi.....

Sincerely,

Re: [H] Autos (off subject)
I drive a silver grey Nissan Almera - reason? It's reliability. This is my second and before that I had Nissan Sunny's. It would have been nicer if I could have stretched to a 1.8 rather than the 1.5 as I would have preferred it to be nippier. I like driving fast and I overtake everything on the motorway as I am always in a hurry as I am always late. The colour of the car is always important to me. Once I had a Peugeot 2.5 which had green seat belts. Loved it but I couldn't get warm enough in winter or cool enough in the summer. My present car has air conditioning - still rare in UK and it's great for the hot flushes. Talking about colour I have just had more bright red streaks put into my hair today- now what does this say about me???
I seem to have a lot of patients that drive 4x4's. It's the middle class NCT crowd!!
