Gut Worms

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

Dear Colleagues

Last night BBC had a programme on Parasites.

One of the interesting points was that the incidence of IBS and hay fever
had increased since WW2.
Also since then not many people had gut worms, especially ASCARIS
LUMBRICOIDES.

So one of the doctors had tried to see their effects on humans. So they
re-introduced them and lo and behold, the Hay fever and IBS symptoms went
away.

Of course by having a good diet, the presence of a few worms would not cause
a major up set.

A few months ago we did a session with Sheilagh Creasy and she went through
the details of the symptoms patients would present when carrying various
parasites. They resemble a few of our remedies and interestingly they are
able to change/cause M/E symptoms too.

One of the facts that came out of the programme was that a lot of people
involved in accidents are often carrying parasites (from cats and dogs)
which has managed to cross over the brain blood barrier. So they make you
more clumsy/careless or apparently heedless.

Dear Soroush

Thank you for sharing this with us. Perhaps this explains why the bowel
nosodes keep coming up more and more for me in my cases.
Perhaps peaceful co-existence with the various bugs in our world is the best
answer to good health, especially since there is the suggestion that we
evolved from some sort of primordial soup where bugs reigned supreme!
