Even tho the menses haven't started yet, I'd have thought that breast buds
and pubic hair, esp. adding in the doctor's prediction, would justify using
the rubric, wouldn't they?

Repertorisation is research and from this point of view you would probably
want to include it just to see what remedies are there. But if you take this
notion further - using rubrics that are not really relevant or true - then
you make real problems for yourself and the case.

She might never get menses, other problems might occur and other symptoms
might develop, we don't know, so this rubric is not true.

Just to add weight to cocc:
There is a rubric: Recognises everything , but cannot move. This may
be a governing rubric for mentally challenged children.

Cocc has all the brain affections involuntary head movements.

( another hit: Bufo is in the rubric: Body grows, mind doesn't.Bufo
has all its actions in the nerves.)

Just one more confirmation for Bufo --

Roger Morrison in his Desktop Guide, combines both "mentally retarded
children" and "premature sexuality" in his description of Bufo.

Pardon me Rosemary as I have huge respect for your work but Premature
sexuality is not in my mind precocius puberty though precocious
puberty may lead to premature sexuality, nothing Rochelle says
indicates that the child is even aware of the sexual development, let
alone interested in it, or did I miss something....Rochelle???
Perhaps I have misunderstood this rubric?

Interesting point. I was thinking of "sexuality" as "sexual development,"
as a physical rather than a mental state. However, going back to EH where I
found the reference, I see that Morrison had that marked as "mental," so I
stand corrected, and thank you for your sharp perception.

Thyroidinum and especially Folliculinum are certainly attractive options to
consider in dealing specifically and palliatively with the premature sexual
development.

Another approach that might make sense is to look at the cause, commonly
called "Asphyxia neonatorum." It might make sense even to give Arnica
first, since injuries are known to move toward resolution under the
influence of Arnica, even after some time has elapsed. Laurocerasus covers
a lot of the symptoms, and is a major remedy for Asphyxia at birth. If you
look under Laurocerasus in Vermuelen's Concordant MM, he gives an exhaustive
DD at the end of that section. Here's another list of primary remedies for
such injuries Sourceh EH: E.A. Fornias, Homeopathic Recorder, 1911, No. 7):

The chief remedies to combat the asphyctic state of the newborn are: Ant.
Tart., China, Opium, CARBO VEG., ACONITE, PHOSPHORUS, Ipecacuanha; and in
especial cases may have to resort to: BELLADONNA, CUPRUM, CAMPHOR, VERAT,
ALB., ARSENICUM and LAUROCERASUS.
