Dear sir,
how can it be known besides the herings law of cure, that the
medicine given is acting in the right direction after an hour or so
or in a day or two.
Moreover the mental symptoms of a patient varies considerably
according the circumstances he is in. So how can it be determined
which mentals should be considered when the patient comes to the
doctor.

Please study Dr Vijayakar's book "Predictive homeopathy - theory of suppression". He has beautifully elaborated on the subject. As you may know this man practices in Bombay, India, and his followers call him "Einstein of homeopathy"! You can find more at: www.predictivehomeopathy.com.
