Re. the placebo effect - Allopaths are fully aware that a massive amount
of
sick people get better directly as a result of homoeopathic treatment.
The
argument I always put back to them, is that, by stating that when a
person
becomes well (having taken homoeopathic medication) the improvement is
due
to the placebo effect, this is an admission that the remedy action
actually
worked. My next point to them is to ask - Then why not use the same
remedies. If such a staggering amount of patients are getting better on
these 'placebos', then here is a perfect system of medicine - wellness
with
no side effects. Again I ask "Why then do you not use it?".

My answer: Why is it when 'we homeopaths' prescribe a remedy and the
patient gets better it is the placebo effect. My question - why does our
placebo effect work more efficiently than the 'allo doc's' placebo
effect?
Wouldn't the patient have improved after his allo doc gave a remedy if
the placebo effect was that strong?

Warmly, Maria

Dear All
Currim's book Guide to Kent's Repertory ( actually Guide to all repertories)
is available at Discount Homeopathic Resources for a special price to
Minutus Group: $25 Plus S/H. Call toll free : 1-866-599-5950 or
wholehealthnow.com/books. It has been the most practical and valuable book
for me even though I am a practioner for 20 years. It has helped me to
understand the basis of the repertory. Once I understood the construction I
could find my way through any repertory (Complete, Synthesis or the old
Kent.) C. Shapiro
