[H] aversion to meat

when we take the case they say whay they do not take meat the
explanation will be like

1. when i was child i used to eat, what ever was server i ate but later
when i became independent a stoped eating as meat is got only by killing
the animal so last 20 - 30 yrs i am not eating.

2. after hearing that human is not carniverous /or after a religious
class i stoped eating meat.

3. Another will tell i once saw the animal being killed by the butcher
since then the desire for meat just vanished.

how can we analize these cases while selecting a rubric.

Hi akhilesh,

I think, you should do further investigations to find the underlying motives of the patient.
Is it strict morals? (1.,2.) So try to find out, if he tends to missionizing .
How does he treat people who want to eat meat? Is he a dictator in this?
Does he live in an environment now, where vegetarism is considered the norm?
Is the main reason that meat aggravates him, or that he simply doesn´t like it any more, but he found a theoretical reason for his vegetarism afterwards? (1.,2.,3.)
Does strong love for animals show outside nutrition, too? (1.,3.)

Or are there emotions that can be found in other areas of his life, too?
Like:
Is there big sensitiveness to cruelty, is he easily impressed (also in general)? (3.)
Is he feeling dirty and wanting to be "pure" by avoiding meat?
Is there a basic feeling of guilt (so he wants no killing for him to avoid further guilt)?
Is he trying to be "a good boy"? ( Is there a person/group, he tries to please by vegetarism?)
Is he trying to be perfect (not only in nutrition, but in other aspects of his life, too)?
Does it give him the feeling to be superior (to meat-eaters)?
