Dear Tan,

Rubrics from Murphy:

Children - PARALYSIS, infants, of
Diseases - POLIOMYELITIS, nerves
Nerves - PARALYSIS, general - infantile paralysis
Nerves - POLIOMYELITIS, infection

Rubrics from Synthesis:

MIND - COLORS - black - desire for - white; and
GENERALS - POLIOMYELITIS

And a case from Homeopathic Links (1994):

Case 4: A video case of a 33 year old woman was
presented. She was suffering from very painful
varicose veins on the left leg. It was worse on
exertion and coition (could not tolerate intercourse);
worse ascending stairs. She used to get a pulling
sensation, better by warm applications. She complained
of a great irritability and anger; of perspiration and
heaviness of breast before menses and that the anger
and irritability was worse before menses. She
described her anger as "being troubled by others". She
was very meticulously dressed with heavy, flashy
make-up, as if dressed for a party. The contact
between Shah and the patient was easy and excellent;
she was frank and vivid, and did not hide anything,
was very expressive. Her main problem was the
indifference of her husband towards her, bringing a
lot of quarrels and disputes, plus she was very
suspicious of her husband's women friends coming to
the office. So she investigated the matter and
confronted her husband, but she was convinced that he
had no extra-marital relationships. She was fond of
shopping and always used the expression "Tip-Top"
while talking about everything. She was meticulous and
perfectionist. Good appearance was of prime importance
to her. The peculiarities of her reactions to adverse
situations were paroxysmal, episodic, spontaneous,
suspicious, angry and then nothing. Everything would
come out and she would not keep it inside. Talkative,
loved travelling, malicious, not very persistent with
great fear of dark and that someone would come and
strangle her from behind. She had restless hands and a
special liking for black and white colours or yellow
and black colours. She said that she dreamt of snakes
very often, of snakes falling from the sky, and that
she had pleasurable dreams of water. She had a strong
desire for sweets, extra salt, thirsty after coition,
slept with open eyes, there was a crack in the middle
of the lower lip and a bifid uvula. Shah could not
decide which remedy to prescribe, so after six weeks
of follow up with placebo, he again asked her to
mention her dreams; she said that she was persistently
dreaming of black and white banded snakes. After
consultation, Shah discovered that only the banded
karate was similar to the ones of the dreams. Bungarus
Fasicatus 6C was prescribed, three doses for one day
then sac-lac. At the next follow-up she said she was
relieved of her pains and that she was not so
fastidious about order. A month later she developed
fever and very painful bilaterally symmetrical
swelling of glands, pain during urination, again
Bungarus was prescribed. The next day she was fine.

Thanks to EH!

Regards,

Ardavan Shahrdar

Thank you Ardavan,

I don't have EH. I have a Mac computer and when I purchased Radar I
got Exlibris with it at that time. Upgrades for Macs are not being
followed through by Radar so regrettably I have not ended up with a
version of EH.
