Has she tried the local application of live yoghourt? It sometime helps by
changing the bacterial population.

If I am not mistaken, thrush cannot survive in acid conditions. Vagina is
normally acidic, but after courses of A/B most of the lactobacteria die so
need to be replaced.

By the way, re- birth control - vinegar or lemon juice by being far too
acidic for the ejaculate which basic ensures that none of the sperms
survive.

How about FEMALE GENITALIA/SEX - LEUKORRHEA and then examine the sub rubs.

In my repertory the only ref to THRUSH is for mouth thrush!

Also perhaps consider
FEMALE GENITALIA/SEX - LEUKORRHEA - offensive - cheese, like old
FEMALE GENITALIA/SEX - CHEESY deposits

Perhaps Boger may be of better help.
the individual sensations like itching, burning, or just
plain 'sensitive' may have to be chosen along with the colour,
consistency , nature (acrid , bland etc), modalities like menses
after, before, urination after etc and the not to be forgotten
concomitants like backache, bleeding, comstipation etc will provide
the key IMO.

If you have Minton's 'uterine therapeutics' , it might be a big help.

Thanks for all the posts on Thrush. Sometimes thrush is not symptomatic but found as a result of a smear test. In the case in question it is a 40 yr old patient who is 22 weeks pregnant with her first - most unexpected child . The remedy I have given her for her presenting complaints is doing a fair job and then she dropped this bombshell that she had been called into the doctor who had prescribed Canestan to be used yesterday evening!! I wasn't too pleased!!! She has to return for a repeat smear test . In UK you are on a dodgy wicket if you try to tell a patient not to use a drug prescribed by the doctor. It would have to be the patient's decision and a pregnant patient with little knowledge of homeopathy will not have the strength of character to tell a doctor she is not going to use it!!

Re Candida. I am not convinced that all thrush is candida but maybe candida dietary changes may help.
