Hello Arlene,
I use mostly aqueous dilutions with my remedies, including the C
potencies.
I think they work better, are smoother, and can be repeated will less
problems.
I do not use alcohol as a preservative. I do purchase bottles by the
case and I use the
water from the health food stores - not spring water but the reverse
osmosis water that
has been sterilized with light. As long as I use this water I have never
had a bottle of
remedy go bad in the last 4 years. (when I used to use spring water they
went bad all the time). Most of my clients do not even keep their
remedies in the refrigerator and have never had a problem.
Hope this helps,
Warmly, Maria

One of the obstacles presented by changing from dry pellets to liquid
solutions is the logistical factor. At present, I have a fairly
extensive pharmacy of C potencies right in my office. Changing to LMs or
liquid solutions of Cs necessitates obtaining bottles, instructing
patients in preparation of solutions, and finding a way to preserve the
final product. I like to avoid alcohol due to the cost as well as
contraindications for some patients. Today, another practitioner related
his approach to preparing LM solutions, which I will pass on. He
purchases LM pellets, then places one pellet in an empty 4-ounce bottle
and instructs the patient to fill the bottle with water and succuss and
take as directed. He has the patient keep the solution refrigerated,
which apparently preserves it sufficiently for at least a couple of
weeks. Has anyone else tried this?
Best wishes to all,
Arlene

Good day all. I would like to add a reference for everyone, HVS (homeovitics) in naples florida. They produce compositions with a water solvent.

Maria,
Thank you for your advice. With your method of preparation, how long is it reasonable to expect the solutions to last without refrigeration? The climate where I live (Arizona) is quite hot in the summer, often 110 degrees or more ambient temperature in the daytime.
Best Regards,
Arlene

Re: Dry dose and now aqueous
I've found that aqueous solutions work more smoothly and cause fewer
aggravations with repeated doses, also. I would like to ask Marie where she
gets her bottles by the case. Sometimes I can purchase them from the health
food store, but they have them for herbal solutions and don't really want to
sell them as empty bottles, so I need a good source for dropper bottles at
reasonable prices.
Thanks for the info on using reverse osmosis water. I generally put a few
drops of vodka in my aqueous solutions as a preservative, but there are
times when this is not a good idea -- babies and animals hate the taste, for
instance, and some people find alcohol intensely disagreeable for idealistic
reasons, despite the virtually non-existent risk from a couple of drops.

Dear Maria:
I also use aqueous cilutions of C and LM potencies with distilled without
preservatives, and/ or refrigeration and have received very few complaints
as long as patients do not get their saliva on the dropper; which seems to
get mouth bacteria into the bottle with subsequent bad taste.
Kind Regards
