Digest Number 1215

Post by Theresa Partington »

tongue chewing
Thanks for your help. 'tic' idea seemed about right and carc had been the
last remedy given!
I'd also given cuprum relatively recently. Neither had been given with this
symptom in mind. Some of the other suggestions seemed more emotionally
extreme than the lady presents. Chamomilla covered many symptoms but she is
not overtly angry or even irritable. She is restless in terms of life style
but not fidgety, for example. (Do I need to know more about chamomilla?)
What I gave is lachesis, again, on other symptoms but on reading 'mouth and
tongue' sensations there are some odd ones 'burns, trembles, catches on
teeth,' that make it not a bad choice for these symptoms, too. I was
therefore interested to see the suggestion of vipera.
I know I have not given you a case, but your responses have given me food
for thought on this and been generally vey educational. Had never really
looked at arum tryph before, for example.
