[H] ingrowing hairs

I have had a request for a Rx to stop the ingrowing hairs that my patient
gets under her arms and on her bikini line from shaving. All I can think of
is Silica to maybe loosen the ends and bring them up. Her constitutional Rx
is Thuja. Is there a possibility that this problem is caused by the Thuja?

This is my take on this situation
The reason hairs ingrow is because the skin is damaged in the hair removal process and grows back, covering the pores, before the hair has a chance to grow. There are products on the market that remove hair without damaging the skin - rather than use a 'remedy' I think this is a case of removing the cause.

This girl shaves and I have heard of ingrowing hairs with waxing but not with shaving. I have given her some Silica 6 for next time she has a bad one. What products are you referring to?
