Mongolian Blue Spot

Post by Steve Scrutton »

Hi Rochelle.
Have you checked on vaccinations? I suppose you have, sorry if the words
'sucking eggs' come to mind. Also makes me wonder if the parents need a
remedy too! They are going to have big problems if they do not assert some
control!

Dear Steve,
My plan of action if nothing has changed when I see him is firstly Gaertner to clear antibiotics that he has been given in the past and then possibly DTP in potency so you and I are thinking alike. I agree with what you say about the parents. Firstly I was a recommendation from a new patient who phoned me first and asked if glue ear was something homeopathy could deal with. he also said that he knew that the child's father was dead against non conventional treatment and that it is possible that Mum would bring the child without dad's knowledge. I was thrilled therefore when mum phoned to make the appointment and asked if dad could come too!! Many a time I have got the parents of a child as patients after the child has been helped so again here's hoping!!

Tho don't be too quick to blame the "control" issue. One of my son's past
homeopaths said he was "just fine", didn't need a remedy, but was "begging
for limits", because he'd hit me, defy me, pick fights with me. All that
stopped -- within hours! -- after he got (indicated by these and also many
other things) Med -- voila, instant "control"! He simply lost his "]Mind,
fight, desire to".

Which has made me *very* leery of assuming that a rotten child has rotten
parents... (Tho of course that's possible too!)

Cheers,
Shannon

I entirely agree; both need to be looked at and a sensible and sensitive
conclusion reached.

Dear Shannon,
It was more the case that the parents didn't seem to know how to handle it and were just putting up with it!! As I said I distracted him and he let go of dad. He was a little live wire and I will certainly consider Med and ask questions around it. Thinking of that Rx my nephew who had glue ears as a child responded well to Med in his late teenage rebellious years. I just got the feeling that this child only played his parents up and I didn't hear of any problems at his nursery school but yet again I will ask more questions!! So thanks for that.

regards,
Rochelle
