Sycosis - Gonorrhea

Hi all,
While studying Hahnemann's Chronic Diseases I read a footnote that was surprising for me. In the 'Sycosis' section, he writes about the gonorrhea which is sometimes associated with the warts as:
'Usually in gonorrhoea of this kind, the discharge is from the beginning thickish, like pus; micturition is less difficult, but the body of the penis swollen somewhat hard; the penis is also in some cases covered on the back with glandular tubercles, and very painful to the touch.'
Is this the common Neisserian gonorrhea?? It doesn't seem so. So why to most homeopaths, Sycosis is an equivalent to gonorrhea or suppressed common gonorrhea??? If it is not so what is it?

It seems that we are confronted with one of the
greatest misconceptions in homeopathy.
You are right, this is not the picture of the common
Neisserian gonorrhea. It should be the disease which
todays we know it as genital warts ( human papiloma
virus ). It is different from common
gonorrhea(Neisserian gonorrhea) and Hahnemann knew the
difference between these two different disease.
