Put normal hair conditioner on the hair, comb through with toothcomb, repeat every 2 days. The live lice can't stick to the hair and therefore are removed. If done every 2 days you get the live ones as they hatch from the nits and before they are mature enough to lay eggs. To prevent reinfection use lavender essential oil in rinsing water.

Re: holding penis in 7 yr old/head lice
We in India have a natural technique for driving off lice. A
ground paste containing hibicus leaves ( Four to Five) , hibiscus
flower ( one or two), one teaspoonful of soapnut powder ( if
available), four azadiracta leaves, four ocimum sanctum leaves serves
as an excellent conditioner as well as wards off lice due to its
bitterness ( soapnut and azadiracta are bitter). This is a common
practice thr'out India.

prescribed Cantharis 6 after reading the MM to Mum over the phone.
Mum reckons the itch is inside the penis and cantharis seems to fit.
It has pulling of the penis, irritation, swelling of the genitals and
Mum is convinced they are swollen. He has had infections in the past
as I have said which berberis has sorted. The poor kid also has
headlice and has itching on his head. I just in time stopped Mum
from using one of those horrible chemical shampoos and told her how
to use the conditioner method. I just wonder if there is a connection
between these 2 problems? A mite got stuck up the penis?
constitutionally again so here's hoping my 100% cure record (on 2
cases!!!) on this one stays!!!! It might be called Contagium but I
have never seen 2 kids in the same family with it. Susceptibility
again obviously.
