I am adding a brief footnote to a private post I sent out several days ago in regard to alcohol detoxing. *The good news * ......... Detoxing is tough, if done outside a professional environment, but it is possible. Seizures and DT's are quite rare...............and, when the "shaking and pacing" stop ; which they will, the recovering person will never have to shake and pace again.
