dosage

I have a client who was prescribed Ars alb for a condition on his hands that
were very dry, split and sore, he was getting quite agitated with this and
could not open his hands, very caloused and was better for heat, hotter the
better.
He is taking 30C 2 pillules 3 x day. He wants to know how long he needs to
stay on this as he was given a small bottle (about 10 ml size). He has
responded very well to the medicine so far by being able to open his hands
out wide and being able to use them again and that the dry skin on the palms
of his hands are slowly sloughing off.
All responses would be greatful.

Hi Wendy,

I would surely think that the prescribing h'th should be asked this...
But to me, 30c three times daily seems like *very* aggressive dosing (am I
too wimpy about this???), and I would assume that it was intended as a
short-term regimen, maybe a week at most? (I have no particular confidence
in my opinion on this , but would certainly think that small bottle
size would indicate that a short course was intended! Do you know how long
he's been doing it so far?
