Thanks to everyone who responded to my hemotoma question. I learned a
lot looking at all the remedies. Unfortunately, nothing helped. My poor
abilities or his blood pressure medicine or just didn't hit the right
one?! Oh well. He is just going to stay off of it for a few days, which
he finally has a chance to do and hope it gets better.

Laura,

This might be a long shot, but I recently treated my dog who the vet
suspected had a haemotoma. It measured about 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter,
and was not located in any gland area. It was extremely hard, and just
appeared overnight. The vet wanted to leave it for a week to see what would
happen to the "lump", thinking it may be a haemotoma, and all I had to go on
was the hard, stoney 'lump'. I gave Conium, low dose for 3 days, and the
lump completely disappeared. When I took my dog back to the vet after a
week, minus any trace of the lump(the vet was intending to take a
fine-needle biopsy of the contents of the cells of the lump and get them
analyzed), he couldn't believe there was no trace( but of course said that
it must have been going to resolve itself anyway). Sometimes, when you
can't extract mind symptoms, or the patient can't easily tell you what the
"thing" feels like, you just have to have a shot at what you have.
