Hi Shannon, against net etiquette im going to write on top of your
mail and not below like i always do, intention is to keep the full
text of your reply to reply back.
Glad you are willing to discuss this, i too find it an interesting
part of homeopathy.
I've been on lists for many years now, and the feeling i always get is
that many people can not afford the sometimes huge fees homeopaths ask,
in my country its not that high then what i read sometimes in USA
groups, that is for me HUGE!
I think its a pity that way its not possible for every person to have
his humans or pets treat the homeopathic way because of the high price.
I have no problem with šreimbursementš i do not think it would mean
that homeopaths would rush patient in and out the door like some
regular doctors he has an ear for human contact, but im in different
country then you) There are already countries that have some payment
back, mine does, but only those homeopaths who are also doctor/vet)
I think in Holland too some payment back.
Having studied homeopathy myself for many years(pets not humans)
no i do not practise,
its not legal here and no way we can practise here without being a
doctor/vet!
So i know how many hours it takes to take a case, , so i
understand that a higher fee is asked, having said that i have heard
so high prices that i do not feel its normal, the higher(well know?)
the homeopath the higher the price?
I always feel its a pity for all those people/pets that can not pay
the price, you write 'available to those who need reduced rates, or
even free treatment' but its not that easy, because difficult to
really know, and also 'people have their pride' i do not think a lot
of people want to give away their private status knock on door and say
i would love to take at my case but can not afford you.
But take a normal? family with 2 children, so 4 persons, then pay 4x a
homeopath visit say every month/6 weeks? its just not possible for
most people in these expensive? times.
