Diabetes and complications - A 'case study'.

Hello all friends!

All said and done, I do not want to press or demand any thing more. I want you all to focus attention on the case I briefly mentioned on March 23, 2003. It was a real case and was treated quite a few years ago. We did not attain complete cure. May be we succeed in finding out a cure now.

What I propose is that:-

I shall divide the ruberics in 4 / 5 parts and shall bring to your knowledge one part.
You shall raise your questions / queries on this part.
I shall then sum up and conclude the rubric.
You shall prescribe medicine(s) and if need be give the reasons.
I will then tell you as to what medicine(s) I prescribed.
And then we will continue with the second set of ruberics. After we have covered all the parts, we can go for the totality of symptoms.

Following is first part of ruberics.

Patient:Male, 60 years' of age, married, 5 children - 3 daughters, 2 sons - a retired official of the government.
Hypertensive for 15 years.

Hoping to get your comments, as above.

I would try to see *why* he is hypertensive ("causeless" anxiety? stressful
circumstances? neither? organic problems?), and how it manifests in him
(anything observable, or any sensations? Any sense of what makes it
better/worse?)

I always begin by finding out what the would most like to have "fixed" -- in
their *experience*, sensations, emotions, etc., not in their lab results...

When the patient came to me, his hypertension was known for more than 5 years. He used to be worse in the morning on waking, would sleep into an aggravation and restlessness. He would not bear tight clothes and would want to loosen them.
Does any medicine now come to your mind?

Let me admit my failure. I failed to generate group's interest in the 'case study'. Perhaps, my selection was wrong or perhaps the group is not used to have serious professional discussion. Whatever may be reason, I withdraw the 'case study'. Nothing concerning it shall now be replied.

Perhaps the group would have reacted more enthusiastically if you had given
a complete homoeopathic case, instead of just a few snippets of information.
We are not here to play games or to see how good we are at guessing a remedy
on incomplete and/or allopathic information.
If you would put up the whole case, including the remedies that failed I'm
sure there would be quite a few people willing to help you try to find the
right remedy.
