Pet cases [was Sulphur and Dogs]
Hi Marleen,
I think a list re pets is a great idea -- but even more, I *love* seeing the
occasional pet prescribing on this list! Principles are the same from
critter to critter, and some of the same skills that help us to treat our
critters, will also come in handy with people, esp. non-verbal people.
Also, most of us probably *have* pets...
If you do get a separate list going, please mention it here?
And in the meantime, vive la pet cases!!
Best,
Shannon

Hi Shannon,
If i can find enough people from this list who are interested i can
create on for pets. Magda Aguila already agreed that she would be
interested. So a second call for people interested for a separate
classical homeopathic list for pets, mail me private or on list is ok.
If this list is really interested to help in pets cases and talk
about it on this list that also ok for me.
Merrilee has posted a good case of her horse with suspected lupus, so
wouldn't it be a good idea then if people on this list who are
interested in pet cases offer rubrics for her to look at? I do
understand that a complete case can not be offered on lists, not many
people work for free, or give away help for free.
That is what i miss most on list, offer rubrics. I know many people
are busy yes

Re: Pet cases [was Sulphur and Dogs]
Hello All
I think it would be a good idea to include pet cases in this list rather
than get a new one going - it's hard enough finding the time to go through
all the info in this list, let alone trawl a new one! Having said that, I
am sure there will be some purists on the list who do not wish to
"adulterate" it with "pet cases"... (Philosophical shrug). Personally I
believe homoeopathy is an energetic science addressing issues which could
equally fit animals or humans (or whatever!).
Regards
Eleana

Re: Pet cases [was Sulphur and Dogs]
having read through the several posts on the idea of a new list for animals, i
think my feeling is that i like to have the vet cases on this list. i do with them
as i do with all the posts. some of them interest me and i read them and others
i get sent to the trash bin. but they are part of homeopathic practice and reading
them adds to my general knowledge

I'm interested!
Could we expand it to "animals"? In addition to the usual cats, dog and
rodents, we also have cows (which are sort of like pets), and a horse for a
neighbor.

I agree!
(And I'm betting no one here objects to animal cases on this list; at least
no one has ever complained, and it's *certainly "on-topic"!)

Hi,
I would love to see more pet cases involved in this list,
for obvious reasons. My own dogs are treated
homeopathically, and I've seen a great many
successes involving homeopathy on cats and dogs.

Hi,
I tend to agree with Eleana. I barely have enough time to red this list
never mind a new one and I'm sure most of us have pets or at least have
family with pets. Homeopathy and case taking apply to all living creatures.
Blessings,
Sue

Hi Marleen
I would be very interested in joining a list for classical
homeopathy for pets. Treating my cats is what led me to homeopathy
in the first place so having a forum to discuss it in relation to
animals would be good.
I'm also working with Magda on my cats at the moment so I know we
would be in very good hands with her on board
Equally I'm happy for it to remain on this list if others do not
mind. I also tend to find that treating animals is not only
wonderful for our animals, but also very good practice for treating
non-vocal humans
Not that I've had to yet, but I do find that
given that more observation is needed with animals, when actually
attempting to treat a talking human (I'm still at the beginning
stages) I'm still pleasantly surprised at being able to ask
questions!

Hi Marleen,
I would love to see animal cases either on this list or a separate
one but tend to agree with Shannon that it would be just as useful
(if not more so) to have the cases on this list ..it is all
homoeopathy after all .
