Calcaneal spur

Dear all,
here are some medicines for calcaneal spur. If I were to name the five most useful medicines in this condition my choice would probably be Medhorrhinum, Manganum, Valriana, Hecla and led. pal. The symptoms you have given are scanty but probably manganum will help.
Of course spur is not an acute disease and the whole case has to be studied but where the picture is not clear, these medicines do the trick.

Valeriana: Pain heel specially right, worse from sitting better from walking.

Led. Pal: Feet and soles tender worse walking.

Med.: Sensitive foot heel, can not walk on the heels they pain so much.

Ant-c: Soreness of heels worse from walking specially on hard surfaces.

Am-m. Pain heels aggravated at night in bed, sometimes around 2 or 3.00 am. The pain is usually right sided, or may be present on both sides but the right side will be more painful. The pain may be worse walking also and is ameliorated by rubbing.

Mang. Can't bear any weight on the heel. Pin worse standing and walking.

Caust: Sudden tearing pains in the heel. Pains are worse from walking. Like Mang. Caust also can not bear to have any weight on the heel.

Calc- f and Hecla: Hekla lava and CF are used because of their ability to cure exostoses and spurs. There are no indicating symptoms as such. They are slow as compared to the other remedies that work very quickly.

Puls: Pain heel aggravated in the evenings and on beginning to walk. The pain usually disappears on continued motion,though at times it continues even after walking.

Rhod. Rarely this medicine works in calcaneal spur, specially when it is associated with a general arthritic condition(Mang). The pains of Rhod. are worse from wet weather.

Sabina and Nat-c may also be indicated at times.
