Hayfever and Asthma

Post by Christine Wyndham-Thomas »

Hi,

I received the following email from a lady that had written to me
in response to an article I wrote on 'homeopathic treatment for hayfever'
sometime ago. However, since I'm just a novice in the study of homeopathy,
the following case is just a little out of my league. I have got her permission
to submit to the group for your help.

Hi, Christine.

It sounds as if this woman could benefit from constitutional homeopathic
treatment from an experienced homeopath. Do you know of someone near where
she lives to whom you could refer her? If not, perhaps someone on the list
could help with a referral.

If the woman lives near you, perhaps she could come to a clinic associated
with your study program, and then you could participate in helping her, with
some more experienced help on board as well. Good luck!

Rosemary

Christine,

the woman needs to have her case take completely. it sounds like she know a little bit
about homeopathy is trying to be helpful in her notes, but there are probably many more
details of her life that you need to know. for example you need much more information on
her specific symptoms, her modalities and what was going on in her life when she developed
these conditons.

do you have someone locally that can review your case taking notes and help you through a
proper case analysis?

Hi,

This person should not, not, not self-treat or be treated by anyone who
is not surely comptetent to treat someone who is likely
"super-sensitive" with compromised vitality, and potential of
re-activation of TB. Suggest very highly *against* Phos. & Sil., unless
the homeopath feels well competent to avoid potentially severe agg.
Probably best to avoid Tub. (all varieties) & bowel nosodes too.

Even without the history of active TB, asthma & allergies are among the
most difficult to treat, and geneerally are people with high sensitivity
& limited vital energy in terms of curative response to Rx.

best regards,

Thanks Dave and everyone else that has replied.

I shall very very strongly recommend that she seeks
a one-and-one consultation with a qualified homeopath
in her own area.
