Shannon asked for more information. As briefly as possible
Male late 20s,dismissed from job because he had hurt back and employers
trying to avoid a compensation case. Past criminal history. Goaled. He
also had just been evicted from house with partner and 3 children. Put up
by local services in motel temporarily. Unable to move because of back
pain. I went to see him on request of convenor of local centre. Outside
heard screaming and quarrelling. On obtaining entrance this very tense man
,smoking furiously, ready to attack it seemed to me, despite his pain.
We talked and I obtained history of repeated beatings by his father. I
think his crimes were robbery with violence. In gaol he defended himself by
biting his attackers. He had sensitivity to light There was a lot of
remorse about both verbal and physical violence suffered by his partner, and
his sorrow for children whom he loved. His body was so tense. All the
muscles in back in spasm.
Anyhow I gave him Lyssin ,his partner Hyocyamus, she was alcoholic and
participating in the screaming and the children Rescue remedy.
The next am I met them all at PO and tried to get him to come to my office
for education and understanding of process. He was walking but had
difficulty rising from stooping. He was calm and friendly. They were
pleased. I thought he needed Nat Mur as next remedy. He did not come to
office and I found him in new accommodation. I had no where to sit and it
was chaotic. I gave him Nat Mur and again thought he complied with
suggestion to visit me. There were so many social and relationship
issues that he needed help with. I again tried to find him but they had
left. One wonders about intervention without proper follow up of
situation.
The other someone I met just recently a former member of a drug cartel but
trying to leave it behind. He did not like hurting people. Terrified of
attack from old mates. He has been more or less adopted by a Care
organization but a bit stuck in process with physical problems which I did
not hear details of.. He gave me his story. I gleaned that he felt
persecuted by his family and associates on whom he would have depended for
much of his life.. He even mentioned at one stage feeling like a dog. He
did not at this point want a remedy. Who knows, maybe to survive he needs
to stay in state of readiness. If this Care org use me I will hear more.
Opium, partner of very old client and brought along by her, a male late 30s
,loss of mother and 2 sisters in childhood in circumstances he helped
create, loss of father ,again in a situation connected to him. Enormous
guilt. Violent temper. Almost impossible to stop him raving on about
grievances and with that rather suffused look.
Had been attacked once and mortally wounded attacker . Served time. In a
fight had been rendered unconscious for some days. Partner very terrified
of his anger and violence and was
attempting to live apart. He desperate to maintain contact with son.
When son was born his partner was ill and he did a lot of the initial care.
Basically a good person. His big problem sleeplessness, and it was because
of basic powerlessness that I thought anger expressed. I believe Opium,
which I call Remedy 131, because of connotations, helped him considerably.
I once gave it to a high school student and it was not a good idea to name
it even though it did the job.
The other a young man, possibly state acquired in utero. Suffused look,
excited talking, very sensitive to alcohol. i.e. aggression. Do not really
know yet. Grateful that he has a carer to help with feed back. Jean

Re: Lyssin and Opium
Thanks Jean,
I see why you have trouble with follow-up! Sounds like your work
circumstances are intense -- Best luck with all that!!!!
Are you being hired by agencies, as a homeopath? Here in US, I don't know
if that *ever* happens, barring very unusual circumstances. Is it more
common where you are?
