I have a patient with 'benign essential tremor' in the early stages of treatment. She has had this since she was 16 (she is now in her 70's), as do several other members of her family - her sisters and some of their children.
Looking into this a little further she told me that her dad had a tremor, but it was not the same; she had contracted Malaria during the 1st WW, and had regular bouts throughout the rest of his life.
Has anyone ever suggested a Malaria miasm? At some point I may need to deal with this and I wondered if anyone has any experience of something similar?

Rajan Sankaran proposed a Malarial Miasm a few years ago. His latest book, "An Insight into Plants," deals more particularly with it. (The book analyzes various plant families according to the "vital sensations" common to the family and their intersection with various miasms.) It's a long but very worthwhile read.
