Re: RADAR and Boenninghausen software
Hi Gregory and Kim,
I like RADAR. I also like my local rep who has been a personal friend of
mine for well over a decade. I bought RADAR many years ago on his
recommendation without looking into any other products.
Unfortunately, I was not aware until very recently that he had decided to
continue in the role of local rep here otherwise I would have enquired
about the purchase of the Boenninghausen package from him directly. As it
was, none of my emails regarding my order through the WHN site were answered
for around 2 months. I'm not all that happy with my credit card details
lying somewhere for that length of time with no follow-up.
Yes, I have heard back from other Archibel reps since enquiring on this
list. I have been informed that the correct protocol and less expensive
option is to purchase the module through my local rep. I'll be very happy to
do
this, whenever it eventually becomes available outside of the US. I'm told
there were some gliches in the program initially, and I'm quite happy to
wait until these are rectified.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of the product. I have been told by
someone who has examined only the first three rubrics that there is already
an inconsistancy in the Anxiety rubric: Bell is in fourth grade in Anxiety
originally but in Radar it's in the fifth. ( in Hempel: 4th grade).
Regardless, I'm thrilled to see Boenninghausen software being promoted to
non-German speakers.
I'd be happier to continue any other correspondence off-list, if necessary.
Sincerely,
Chris
