Hi,
I am presently using Radar 8 with EH on my desktop PC.
I intend to buy a laptop/notebook and so request those of you
who are already using them to kindly intimate which make
of laptop/notebook (low cost) serves best with this software and whether
any
problems are encountered, such as error messages etc., and difficulties
if any in installing and using this software on them.
Please also mention the make and model no that you are using.
Please feel free to reply in private to my email.
TIA,
V.T.Yekkirala.

Re: notebook/laptop
Assuming the laptop has adequate memory and speed, any decent PC system
should do. Check with Radar regarding the memory requirements for Radar
8 & EH. Make and model are up to you and your pocketbook -- just make
sure it's a laptop you'll feel comfortable using for a few years,
because they are relatively expensive. I use a Fujitsu, but I've seen
Radar run on Dell, Sony, Toshiba, and other makes.
Peace,
Cinnabar

Hi V.T.,
The basic requirements to run Radar & EH are very low, I've seen Radar & EH run
OK on P-233 machine with 96mb RAM, HD requirements (not including multimedia
files) vary from 200mb to 800mb or so, depending on which level of the programs
you have. Like with any other software, it'll run faster with a good amount of
RAM and a faster CPU.
It runs very nicely on a new $759 notebook with 256mb RAM, 10GB HD, DVD-rom
