Hello everyone.
My son (6 yrs) was given 200c (1 dose I dissolved in water) of
stramonium for manic episodes of anger, defiance, hostility, violence
etc.(also has sensory issues and slight obs/comp tendencies, and
bedwetting) He would do this (craziness, as if posessed) only when I
was in charge (not for dad, grandparents, teachers etc) I THOUGHT
his episodes were less, after the remedy, possibly only that dad was
around, then a few days into it, he took a few gulps of my coffee.
After this, he seems to be as bad or worse, but only for ME. Doctor's
assistant (?) sounded knowledgable and said very unlikely antidoted
the remedy as it is very deep acting and powerful. I understand the
concept of discipline and I dont believe I am being inneffective for
that reason. The problem is, though, his behavior is so strange and
seemingly unprovoked (dumping tea out because I refuse to make a NEW
cup when it chilled, DEMANDING something impossible, and in a manic
state, such as if his pants got wet, and the bus was due, he would
take them off, and repeatedly say "wash them" knowing he should just
get ANOTHER pair, and still insisting repeatedly he wants to wear
them, not listening to reason, which ends in punishment. so my
questions are, I guess, was the remedy antidoted, also IS there the
possiblity that his episodes of anger and "craziness" towards mother
ONLY is something that is in the rubics of another remedy? When the
episode is over, he is sweet, articulate and affectionate. The only
thing that will stop his defiance during these episodes, is MY
destroying or threatening to take some posession of his such as
coloring pages, posters, etc. (as he rips and breaks other's stuff)
Sorry if I am providing too much info. Please advise. Heide

						coffee antidote??
Re: coffee antidote??
Heide,
If a remedy is the simillimum, I would not expect it to be antidoted unless
the individual is very sensitive to coffee. Perhaps Stram is close but not
quite. The behavior you describe - aggression with remorse directed at
parent - always brings Lyssin to my mind but of course this is to be
addressed with your practitioner.

coffee antidote??
coffee may well have antidoted the Stram, but check first if he is
hypoglycemic [possibly from wheat intolerance]. coffee will make this worse.
and for omega-3 intake. lack of these in the diet is a strong contributor
to the plague of ADHD and other behavioural disorders in kids.
