Mucus instead of stool- decision time

I have made a decision. Like you all I really liked Arg. Nit and Kali bic but there were also reasons why I did not think that they were suitable. I repped everything separately as well as together.I Had separate reps for M&E., the bowel stuff, environment and so could see that Ars came up best for the bowel stuff but Arg Nit and Kali Bi didn't show until very low down. Kali Bi came out top for the environmental stuff >sun > summer etc. Ignatia came out top of the M and E's but Arg Nit was there of cause.

Yesterday when he was with me I did look at the Bowel Nosodes. Today I took a better look in lots of sources and I was very impressed with Murphy's MM and Dys. Co. especially as it covers the remedies we have been discussing and the Lycopodium that was given. It sounded so much like this quiet excitable little man. I have decided to give a 30C potency for 3 doses , night , morning, night. I will away from Sunday so I don't want too much agg and will suggest that he takes it when school is out on Friday as it usually causes diarrhoea.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions both on and off list. I have gone into every one in detail. I will let you know the result of this although with summer on the way it may go on its own:-)

Hi Rochelle,

Just to note, one of the cautions I read about bowel nosodes is not to
repeat "too soon", as that can cause trouble. All sources I recall reading
gave only a single dose, not split. Don't know if this is relevant, but
thought I would pass it along.

I was also taught that bowel remedies must not be repeated within 3 months as it takes that long for the action to finish. However it is very common in UK to give a split dose and I have done it before with Dys. Co. We look on this as one dose
Incidentally I also have notes regarding Gaertner that tell me how many doses to give according to how much antibiotics have been take, as in one dose or one a day for 5 days.

Dear Robyn,
I agree with all that you have written. I am hoping that the Dys. Co will address all this mucus and then I constitutional remedy - like the Rhus Tox that I gave may be able to work better. There was a tiny response from the Rhus in that some acne he had came back for a day or so but there was no result with the IBS. He also thinks he has mucous colitis. Maybe after the Dys. Co. Kali Bi may work. I even thought of Pulsatilla!! We shall see.

I very much appreciate your contributions to the group.

Regarding the nosode Gaertner, could you give me some more info about G
being used as counter acting for the taking of antibiotics. How many doses,
what potency and if it is only G that is being used or others as well
according to the symptoms presented.
