im new to this site and a student.. could u please tell me if the D8
of pancreas D8 means the potency? as in decimal? thanks shirl xx

D8 is the potency.
Three important potency scales are:
1. 'decimal' with 1/10 steps of dilution (indicated by
D or x)
2. 'centimal' with 1/100 steps of dilution (indicated
by c)
3. 'LM' with 1/50000 steps of dilution (indicated by
LM or 0/..)

many thanks for the pancreas info...i did wonder as i lookd it up on
ainsworth site an it said their decimals only listed up to 5 so i was just
checking!! btw i have a patient whose a diabetic an i have been giving her a
single dose of syzigium 30 once a week. and after many years of taking
insulin an they kept on increasing the dosage ...she has at last started
being able to reduce this...since the syz...but my homoeopath recomended
ceanothus to run inconcurrent with syz 30 once a DAY..but homoeopath on hom
open site made me panic when she said that ws too high an too often...so i
reduced it after 1month to once a week.. but she also said Y DID SHE SUGGEST
SUMMAT FOR SPLEEN RATHER THAN FOR PANCREAS ? so i noticed u refered to
pancreas d8 an thats why i wanted to make sure it was the potency!!!! wot do
