Isali you quoted the example of different tuning forks, IMHO, if we mix
different remedies in one, it would be like two resonating forks in the
same hand, and it would not be resonating differently. Both the forks would
give different vibration if they are in the same hand than when they are
resonating at different times. The frequency of one fork would altered by
the vibration of the other fork. I wonder if I have been able to express
myself exactly.

I have used two remedies at intervals, which are complimentary, and that
too is not in my regular practice. This is only in those cases, where the
patient demands immediate relief. Also it is only in acute cases and never
in chronic ones. Where the patient permits, I always use single remedy and
less repetition, though the potency is higher according to the age,
condition and symptoms of the patient.

Your comment of sailing and leaving the dock...:), well you are right, but
in a society where every one...allopaths, herbalists and the patient
himself are in the habit of using steroids over the counter, all that I
hope is that sooner or later, one lands safely on the shore :):):)!!! Take
care.

Sincerely,
Zaidee.

Well Zaidee I recognise and accept the validity of the intention underlying
the single remedy protocol. However, I ponder whether there is any
distinction to be made when remedies follow one another closely.
Furthermore, in dragging in your reference to magnetic 'levels' to this
discussion, causes me to think of the appropriateness in the use of the
wave theories of physics in an attempt to describe what we observe. As such
I refer you to the post below wherein I made reference to tuning forks. If
this is valid then there is no disturbance of the VF as there is no
resonance unless the frequency is able to cause a response; ergo, a
resonance. You made reference to remedies which are similar and
complementary, at least that was my interpretation, and this too may be
viewed with descriptive value with the wave theory. The issue becomes one
of being ever so clear as to the selection of the proper remedy or with
those which are similar and compatible so as to avoid an aggravation.
It is difficult to diagnose and it is easy to prescribe.

Your last comment causes me to consider that if one goes sailing, one will
certainly run aground, or anyone of a number of misgivings will occur
because you left the dock. So too with the practice of medicine. We learn
from our respective books of knowledge and then we must begin the process of
writing our own books. I keep an ample supply of whiteout, or I use pencils
as they have a wonderful addition at its other end called erasers. This
dinner table is round and it is a wonderful, wonderful treat to break bread
with everyone away from the dock.
I enjoy your thoughtful consideration
