Horizon - In Whose Best Interest?

I'm sure that Martin Walker could do this! He exposed
scientists in the UK, who were responsible for
"de-bunking" a lot of complementary/alternative
treatments as having the names of pharmaceutical
companies on their pay checks.

I wonder who signed the pay cheques (or added to them)
of the scientists involved in this experiment. They
all worked for prestigious organisations, but who
funds those?

Again, this is a cynical view, and in rather bad form
(bitter and twisted as a friend of mine used to say).
I think the "test" was done honourably, but let's face
it, I think even Randi knew they weren't really
testing homoeopathy and that homoeopathy may well be
beyond the sights of today's science.

Cheers,
Simone
