ART, etc

Post by petsfriend »

Just to add another perspective to this issue of "add ons" to homeopathy. I
consider myself classical to the extreme. In that, I believe that the law of
similars is THE law of nature governing the cure of disease and therefore,
the remedy must be similar to move the patient in the direction of wellness.
The law of similars was the core principle Hahnemann never changed. He
changed dosing and potency approaches. His understanding of chronic diseases
changed. The system of homeopathy evolved around the fundamental principle
of the law of similars.

I know of many people, including myself and other homeopaths who have been
to NUMEROUS practitioners, famous and not so famous and have had perhaps
dozens of remedies with no significant improvements. Some have committed to
homeopathy for over 10 years without results!! Are we to say to these
patients that they must continue to suffer until (if ever) someone figures
out their remedy by an intellectual process if there is a possibility that
ART or some related concept could speed up that process? Should they travel
the world looking for that practitioner that will "get it"? I personally
don't have a problem with such a "helping hand" as long as we understand
that the remedy must be similar in order to cure and manage/evaluate the
response as with any other remedy.

This all being in the case that the "helping hand" be well verified as
accurate and repeatable.

Perhaps I have too much empathy for the patient, but I want nothing more
than the patient to get the simillimum. I don't care that much how they get
it. Of course, we need a consistent and reliable method for finding it,
ideally. What counts is that the patient gets well and the simillimum
finding the simillimum should be the focus.

be well
